Fear Not – Rejection

This week we talk about our fear of being rejected by others and by God.

Many of us still live with that middle school fear of being rejected by our peers, and we’ve adopted some unhealthy ways to cope with that fear. From shutting down our true selves to keep the peace, to being externally calm, while raging on the inside. Some of us cope by becoming an island, and telling ourselves the lie that “we don’t care what anyone says about us”

Some even live in the fear that God will reject us.  We fear that our past sins and current struggles are just too much for God to accept and He’s going to reject us too.

Join us as we explore scripture and what God has to say about this fear of rejection. Here’s a hint, there’s assurance and acceptance in what Christ has done for us!
